Matthew Scheffler

Matthew Scheffler is a Senior Network Engineer at Garmin, having started in November 2021. Prior to Garmin, Matthew held multiple positions at Cerner Corporation from October 2015 to November 2021, including Senior Network Engineer and Network Engineer in Network Operations and Provisioning. Responsibilities included planning, testing, implementing, managing, and documenting Cisco network infrastructures, as well as multi-vendor integrations and troubleshooting complex network issues. Earlier experience includes roles as Lead Bartender at Minsky's Pizza and Bartender/Manager at Habaneros Restaurant & Bar, where team leadership and inventory management were key responsibilities. Matthew began a career in technology as an Application Developer at Sprint and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Networking Technology from the University of Central Missouri, along with an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley.
