Robbie Ruzicka

Robbie Ruzicka has extensive experience in network engineering and management, currently serving as Team Lead Engineer for Network Upgrades at The University of Queensland since October 2005. Ruzicka has held various roles at the institution, including Network Engineer in the Network Operations Centre, Technical Team Lead for UQSchoolsNet, and Project Manager for University Networks. Additionally, Ruzicka leads IT Network Support for the annual AusCERT Cyber Security Conference and has worked as an ICT Specialist for the 2018 Commonwealth Games with Optus. Early career experience includes positions such as Communications Manager at Harvey Norman, Telecommunications Franchisee/Qld State Operations Manager at One.Tel Limited, and QLD/NT State Sales Manager at Cellnet Cellular Wholesalers. Ruzicka's education includes credentials from The University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, and Southbank Institute of Technology.
