Jason Harris

Jason Harris has a diverse work experience in the transportation industry. Jason is currently the VP Student Protector Programs at Gatekeeper Systems Inc since 2023. Prior to this, they were the President & CEO of Jason Harris Group LLC, where they provided comprehensive solutions and guidance to businesses. From 2022 to 2023, they served as the Transit Division Manager at Manatee County Government, overseeing the daily operations of public transit. Before that, they were the Director of Transportation at Sarasota County Schools from 2019 to 2022, managing a fleet of vehicles and implementing new transportation technologies. Jason also worked at the School District of Manatee County, where they held various roles, including Director of Transportation and Assistant Director of Transportation. Jason started their career at Sarasota County Area Transit as a Business Professional and Business Data Analyst.

Jason Harris completed their education with a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of West Florida in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Florida, which they completed in 2005. In addition to their formal education, Jason has also obtained certifications in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace and Inclusive and Ethical Leadership from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2022.
