Daniel Chacon

Daniel Chacon is an experienced reporter with a strong focus on government and public safety journalism. Currently serving as a City Hall reporter for the Colorado Springs Gazette since March 2009, Daniel previously held similar roles at the Rocky Mountain News from 2005 to 2009 and at the Albuquerque Journal in 2001. Earlier career highlights include working as a public safety and government reporter for The San Diego Union-Tribune from 2001 to 2005 and covering crime and courts at the Santa Fe New Mexican between 1997 and 2001.
