Emily Williams

Director, Development, Kentucky at Geenex Solar

Emily Williams has more than 10 years of experience in the electric utility industry, with a focus on the development, operation, and maintenance of more than 100 MW of utility-scale solar generation across 32 facilities. Emily has experience in land acquisition, contract negotiations, due diligence, document review, zoning and permitting processes, local community engagement, project management, construction oversight, and equipment procurement. At Geenex, Emily concentrates on early-stage development, managing a project portfolio across key development milestones such as community engagement, local and state permitting, critical site due diligence, and external communication with development partners.

Emily has her undergraduate degree from Miami University (Ohio) with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and German, her J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and is an MBA candidate at Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
