Geoff Thorn is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the rail and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Executive General Manager at Gemco Rail since October 2012, Geoff oversees the ASX Listed Engenco rail businesses, providing a range of services and products to the Australian rail market. Previously, Geoff held various leadership roles at TE Connectivity, where responsibilities included managing distribution business strategies in Greater China and overseeing multi-site operations in Australia and New Zealand. Earlier positions also include Regional Operations Director at ITW Ramset and Plant Manager at Clyde Engineering, where significant contracts and manufacturing projects were successfully delivered. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney.
