Rob Chatwin

Rob Chatwin is an experienced geologist with a strong background in energy and resource management. Currently serving as a Senior Development Geologist at Genel Energy PLC since January 2023, Rob previously held the position of Asset Manager & Geology Lead at New Age (African Global Energy) Limited from July 2018 to March 2023, overseeing operating assets in Congo and South Africa. Prior roles include Principal Geologist at Petrofac, where responsibilities encompassed geological subsurface tasks for assets in Mexico and the North Sea, as well as Senior Geologist at Buried Hill Energy and Team Lead at Talisman Energy. Rob's expertise is supported by a Master of Science in Petroleum Geology from the University of Aberdeen and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Leicester.
