Karthik Nagapudi

Karthik Nagapudi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Executive Director at Genentech since August 2014, where responsibilities include leading the formulation development and Biopharmaceutics group with a focus on emerging drug delivery technologies. Prior to Genentech, Karthik held positions at Amgen from May 2006 to August 2014 as Principal Scientist, managing solid form activities for drug substance and product in clinical development, and leading project activities related to solid state properties. Karthik also worked as a Senior Scientist at Merck from 2003 to 2006 and began a career in academia as a Graduate Student at Georgia Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1999. Karthik's educational credentials include a Postdoctoral degree from Emory University, a PhD and MS in Polymer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
