Raj Kandasamy

Raj Kandasamy is an accomplished Engineering Leader currently serving at Genentech since December 2024, contributing to Computational Sciences within the Research & Development division. In addition to this role, Kandasamy has been an advisor for a start-up since May 2024. Previously, Kandasamy held the position of CTO at MikMak from 2023 to 2024, and served as SVP of Engineering at Lucidworks from 2019 to 2023. Kandasamy's extensive experience also includes roles as VP of Engineering at Singular from 2017 to August 2019, and at Apsalar, Inc. prior to its acquisition in 2017. Other notable positions include VP of Engineering at OpenX (2014-2015), Head of Engineering at Pantheon.io (2013-2014), Director of Engineering at Aggregate Knowledge (2006-2013), and Engineering Manager at Intuit (2003-2006). Raj Kandasamy earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Thiagarajar College of Engineering from 1987 to 1995.
