Sheetal Patel

Sheetal Patel is an accomplished Senior Principal Scientist specializing in Patient-Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR) in oncology at Genentech, with extensive experience leading research strategies, Health Authority interactions, and implementation of patient-reported outcomes in clinical trials, particularly for breast and gynecology cancers. Sheetal has held various leadership roles, including co-chair of the PRO-CTCAE Industry Working Group and has a strong background in mentoring junior scientists. Previous roles include managing the PROUD Study at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and research leadership at The University of British Columbia, along with significant contributions to research projects related to HIV and vulnerable populations in multiple international settings.
