Inari
Augusto Diniz is a highly experienced genomic data scientist with a comprehensive background in genetics and plant breeding. Currently serving as a Senior Genomic Data Scientist at Inari since February 2022, Augusto has previously held the role of Postdoctoral Researcher at USP/IQ from April 2017 to January 2022 and also worked as a Visiting Scientist at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory between September 2019 and September 2020. Additionally, Augusto has academic experience as a Teaching Assistant in molecular and general genetics at USP/ESALQ. Early career experience includes a Technical Training position focused on molecular diversity in Xanthomonas and a trainee role in plant breeding at Embrapa, where research involved evaluating the morpho-agronomic and molecular diversity of various plant species. Augusto holds advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding from USP and a postdoctoral degree in Bioinformatics from the same institution.
