Sonya Richins

Sonya Richins is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in equine welfare and clinical education. As the Founder of Wild Heart Sanctuary since 2013, Sonya has established a sanctuary for wild horses while promoting equine facilitated learning and healing. In addition, Sonya serves as President of Reinfree.org Inc, a non-profit organization focusing on raising awareness about the plight of wild horses. Sonya is also the Executive Producer at Manestream Productions Inc, leading the initiatives of HorsesVoice.org and ReinFree. In the clinical field, Sonya has held the position of Senior Clinical Specialist at Genentech since 2004, specializing in educating healthcare providers about the biotech drug Activase, particularly in the areas of neurosciences and stroke management. Sonya holds a degree from Utah State University.
