Matt Smith

Matt Smith is an experienced engineering professional with a background in product development and test engineering. Currently serving as the Test Engineering Manager at Generac Power Systems since 2019, Matt has also held positions as an Adjunct Instructor at Waukesha County Technical College from 2019 to 2021 and as a Senior Product Development Engineer at Husco from 2002 to 2019, where responsibilities included problem-solving in product design and modernizing testing processes. Earlier in the career, Matt contributed to the Milwaukee School of Engineering as Lab Manager and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, following an internship at Sun Hydraulics. Matt holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Milwaukee School of Engineering, earned between 1996 and 2002.
