Peter Matusov

Peter Matusov is a scientist with extensive experience in image processing, sensor modeling, and physical oceanography. Currently employed at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since September 2022, Matusov also serves as a scientist at SLANTRANGE, Inc., focusing on algorithm development for multispectral airborne sensors in agricultural applications. Prior roles include significant contributions in systems engineering and image processing at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, as well as development engineering at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, where Matusov worked on remote sensing instrumentation and data processing. An academic background includes a Master’s degree in Physics from State University of Nizhni Novgorod and mechanical engineering studies at Wayne State University.
