Raymond Oosterom

Raymond Oosterom is a skilled mechanical engineer with significant experience in diagnostics and shop support engineering. Currently employed at General Fusion since July 2022, Raymond previously worked at MTU Maintenance Canada from March 2019 to July 2022, where responsibilities included designing tooling, improving operational efficiency, and managing component complaints. Prior to this role, Raymond served as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Harbour Air Aerospace Services for 14 years, excelling in aircraft maintenance and rising from an apprentice to the Secondary Delegate. Early career experiences include roles as an Engineering Assistant at TDN Constructors Group Ltd. and a Labourer at Vanderveen Construction. Raymond holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, a foundational year in Engineering from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and an Associate's degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
