Giovanni Tosi

Giovanni Tosi, Ph.D., serves as Scientist II in In Vivo Pharmacology at Generate:Biomedicines since May 2023, previously holding the title of Scientist I in the same area. From 2017 to 2023, Giovanni worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Università degli Studi di Padova, focusing on Schnyder’s Corneal Dystrophy research and managing cross-functional projects that resulted in the publication of four papers on cancer biology. Giovanni holds a Ph.D. in Biosciences and Cancer Biology, along with a Master’s in Oncology and Molecular Biology, and a Bachelor’s in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the same institution. Additional experience includes teaching assistance for laboratory classes and conducting workshops on scientific methods for younger audiences. Giovanni's international collaborations, including time at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, have enriched expertise in cancer biology.
