Andrei Pitis

Andrei Pitis is an accomplished entrepreneur and technology leader, currently serving as Founder and CEO of genezio since March 2023. With extensive experience in the tech industry, Andrei co-founded Innovation Labs Romania in February 2013 and holds a Board Member position there. Additionally, Andrei is Chairman of the Board for Simple Capital and Pentest-Tools.com, both of which have been active since 2020. Previous leadership roles include VP Product and Head of European Development Centers at Fitbit from January 2017 to August 2020, and serving as a Board Member for Bittnet Group and Clevertaxi, the latter of which resulted in a successful exit to MyTaxi in 2017. As the Founder and CEO of Vector Watch from October 2013 to December 2016, Andrei led the company to launch a notable wearable technology that was acquired by Fitbit. Andrei also served as President of ANIS, the National Association of the Software and Services Industry, from February 2012 to May 2016. Academic credentials include a master's and bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
