Andrew Mckenzie

Andrew McKenzie is an accomplished professional in the field of personalized medicine, currently serving as Vice President at Sarah Cannon since November 2015, with previous roles including Director and Sr. Manager in the same department. Responsibilities include managing molecular profiling projects and integrating clinical data into IT systems. Additionally, Andrew McKenzie has served as Scientific Director at Genospace since March 2021 and was a Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University, where research focused on cancer-related exosome mechanisms. Andrew McKenzie completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Vermont, exploring calcium and PKA activity in cell migration, and earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont. A Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology was obtained from Shorter University in 2009.
