Andrew Yarrow

Andrew Yarrow is an experienced academic and consultant currently serving as an affiliate professor in the Honors Program at George Mason University since August 2021. With a diverse background as a freelance writer, author, and consultant, Andrew has contributed op-ed columns and feature articles to numerous prominent publications, including the New York Times and the Washington Post, focusing on economic, cultural, political, and social issues. Previous positions include Senior Research Advisor at Oxfam America, where Andrew concentrated on low wages and inequality, and Vice President and Washington Director at Public Agenda. Andrew's extensive writing and research experience also encompasses roles at The Brookings Institution, the National Endowment for the Arts, and various government and international organizations such as UNICEF. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in American history from George Mason University and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School.
