Nelson C. Baker

Nelson Baker currently serves as the Inaugural Interim Dean of Lifetime Learning at Georgia Tech, overseeing the Professional Educational division, which offers a range of educational programs including master’s degrees and customized courses. Previously, Nelson held the position of President at the International Association of Continuing Engineering Education and served as Associate Vice Provost for Distance Learning & Professional Education and Associate Chair for Information Technology at Georgia Institute of Technology. Nelson earned a PhD and MSCE in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a BSCE in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
