Adeniyi A Adeyemi, PhD, is a Geospatial Specialist at GeoTerra Image (GTI) since November 2015, specializing in advanced satellite remote sensing technologies applied to the built environment and agriculture. This role involves utilizing SAR and optical multispectral data, GIS, and non-spatial data to deliver actionable insights while collaborating with various geospatial experts. Previously, Adeniyi served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Pretoria from January 2013 to December 2015 for remote sensing modules, and worked as an Environmental Remote Sensing and GIS Sub Consultant at CJ and MP ESS (PTY) LTD. Adeniyi's earlier experience includes roles as a Junior Researcher and Junior Environmentalist within the Ministry of Environment. Adeniyi holds a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of South Africa, a Master’s in Geoinformatics from the University of Pretoria, and a Bachelor's in Environmental Management from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. Further specialized training includes participation in the PAISS AI summer school in France focusing on Machine Learning.
