Nate Smith

Nate Smith is an experienced executive holding the position of Vice President at GHX since January 2020. Previously, Nate served as Vice President at Visa from October 2009 to January 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing the Global Small Business Product & Partnerships segment and leading innovation and strategic partnerships. Nate's career at Visa also included roles as Senior Director and Senior Account Executive. Prior to Visa, Nate worked at American Express as Director of Global Accounts and Global Business Development Manager, enhancing transaction services and expense management solutions. Additionally, Nate contributed to the Urban Arts Partnership as a Board Member from 2009 until December 2023, supporting arts-integrated education for underserved public school students. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University and a certification in Latin America Business/History from La Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan.
