Ian Rheeder

Ian Rheeder is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in training, consulting, and leadership in the fields of sales, marketing, and strategy. Currently serving as an External Faculty/Lecturer at GIBS Business School since 2007, Ian has developed 12 strategic programmes and contributed to GIBS being recognized as one of the top business schools globally. As the owner of Markitects Consulting, Ian has authored 30 public training programmes and offers specialized services in training and strategy facilitation. Ian is also a distinguished professional speaker, having served as the Past President of the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa's Johannesburg Chapter. Ian's prior roles include Marketing & Sales Director at YKK Fasteners and Marketing & Sales Manager at Clearline Protection, as well as early career experience as an Assistant Engineer at Denel Aviation. Ian holds a Master of Science degree in Technology and Innovation, with cum laude honors from the DaVinci Institute, and is a Chartered Marketer certified by the Institute of Marketing and Management and the Marketing Association of South Africa.
