Professor Chizema

Professor Amon Chizema serves as a Professor of Corporate Governance and International Business at Loughborough University School of Business and Economics since April 2020 and holds the title of Professor Extraordinaire at GIBS Business School since October 2018. Previously, Professor Chizema was a Professor of Corporate Governance and Strategy at the University of Birmingham from May 2015 to April 2020, and has extensive experience at Loughborough University from July 2004 to April 2015 in various roles, including Senior Lecturer and Research Associate. Research interests focus on corporate governance, executive compensation, and governance practices across countries, with published work in leading journals such as the Strategic Management Journal and Journal of Management Studies. Professor Chizema obtained a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from Loughborough University between 2004 and 2006 and serves on the editorial boards of notable academic journals.
