Sofiane Chouane

Sofiane Chouane is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in fintech and digital payment solutions. Currently serving as Head of Fintech at Giesecke+Devrient since June 2017, Sofiane oversees the global fintech business, driving revenue growth and strategic initiatives. Previous roles include Business Owner and Innovation Manager for digital and card issuance offerings, and Business Development Manager focusing on banking and payment solutions. Sofiane has contributed to the Smart Payment Association as a member and working group contributor. Earlier career milestones include significant positions at Gemalto, NETSIZE, Airweb, Buongiorno, and DATATRADER, showcasing a strong background in sales, business development, and project management within the payment and mobile marketing sectors. Sofiane holds a postgraduate degree in International Trade from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University and a Master’s Degree in International Business from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
