Adam Skaggs is a legal expert with extensive experience in gun safety and policy advocacy. Currently serving as Chief Counsel and Vice President at the Giffords Law Center since July 2016, Adam previously held the position of Senior Counsel at Everytown for Gun Safety from September 2013 to June 2016. Adam also contributed as Senior Counsel at the Brennan Center for Justice from 2008 to September 2013 and worked as a Litigation Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from 2005 to 2008. Adam holds a Doctor of Law degree from Brooklyn Law School, a Master’s degree from Hunter College, and a Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College.
