Chastity joined the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in 2008, starting as a Program Assistant before transitioning to roles such as Single Family Housing Specialist and Underwriter. In their position as an Underwriter, they were responsible for evaluating lenders' collateral analysis and determining the acceptability of mortgage guarantees. Chastity also conducted comprehensive studies and analyses of client data collection processes.
In 2016, Chastity joined Ginnie Mae as a Mortgage-Backed Securities Specialist in the Office of Securities Operations. Chastity played a vital role in the accurate and timely pass-through payments of billions of dollars in Principal and Interest. Chastity then moved up to the role of Senior Business Analyst, where they led an operations team and served as the program manager of the RPA program. Chastity implemented lean and automation processes, significantly reducing manual hours and costs while improving efficiency.

Chastity A. pursued their undergraduate studies from 1994 to 1999 at The University of Alabama, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 2011, they furthered their education by enrolling at Clayton State University, completing their Master of Arts in Liberal Studies with a focus on Political Science in 2013.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Chastity A. has obtained several certifications. In June 2010, they received the "Contracting Officer Technical Representative / Government Technical Representative" certification from the U.S. Department of Housing, Office of the Chief Procurement Officer. Following this, they completed the "Lean Six Sigma Green Belt" certification at Villanova University in October 2011.
