Shawn Sullivan

Shawn Sullivan is an experienced lean deployment leader currently employed at GKN Aerospace since March 2024. Previously, Shawn worked as a manufacturing engineer at Aethercomm, where responsibilities included supporting production lines, addressing rework issues, and collaborating on new product designs. At Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions, Shawn served as a business process analyst and manufacturing engineer, leading kaizen events that significantly improved efficiency and cost reduction, and training nearly 1,000 employees on safety protocols. Additional experience includes a role as a manufacturing engineer at General Atomics, focusing on supplier issues, and as a process engineer at Cobham, where Shawn applied DMAIC methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. Early career roles included internships at L-3 Communications and PCC Structurals, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
