Mehrdad Sanij

Mehrdad Sanij has a diverse work experience in quality engineering and manufacturing engineering. Mehrdad is currently working as a Senior Quality Engineer at Glaukos Corporation since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Quality Assurance Leader at Moleaer Inc. from April 2021 to October 2022. Before that, they were a Senior Quality Engineer at BYD North America from October 2018 to April 2021. Mehrdad began their career as a Manufacturing Engineer at Elite Lighting Corp from March 2017 to October 2018.

Mehrdad Sanij has a solid educational background with a focus on engineering and industrial management. Mehrdad completed a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from California State University, Northridge from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) between 2010 and 2012. Furthermore, Mehrdad earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Materials Engineering from the Islamic Azad University from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Mehrdad has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. Mehrdad received a certification in Regulatory Requirement for Medical Devices from UC Irvine in June 2023. Mehrdad also holds a Plastic Engineering Technology Certificate from Consultek Consulting Group, which they obtained in April 2023. Moreover, Mehrdad obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from the Management and Strategy Institute in April 2020. Lastly, in February 2020, they became a Certified Engineer in Training (EIT) from the California State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
