Ciaran Murphy has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of commercial and business development within the Glen Dimplex group. Ciaran started their career in 2013 as a Student at University College Cork, where they studied Civil and Environmental Engineering.
After completing their studies, Ciaran joined the University of Notre Dame as a Graduate Fellow and also took on roles as a Startup Weekend Sponsorship Coordinator and a Student Project Manager.
In 2014, they joined Glen Dimplex as a Product Engineer, working on product design, development, and life cycle assessment. Ciaran then moved to Glen Dimplex Americas, where they worked as a Product Manager for their New Product Development team, gaining experience in technical marketing and corporate strategy.
In 2016, Ciaran became an Executive Assistant to the Group CEO at Glen Dimplex, before taking on the role of Business Associate.
In 2018, they joined Glen Dimplex Australia as an Integration Manager, followed by roles as a Program Manager and a Commercial Manager, specializing in flame products.
Recently, in 2022, Ciaran returned to Glen Dimplex as the Head of Development for Global Electric Flame, and also took on the roles of Business Development Director and Managing Director for the UK Flame division. Ciaran is currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer for Flame Europe at Glen Dimplex.
Ciaran Murphy completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from University College Cork in 2013. In 2014, they pursued a Master of Science degree in ESTEEM from the University of Notre Dame. In 2015, they obtained a CORe: Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online. Prior to these degrees, they completed their Leaving Certificate from Patrician Academy in 2009.
