Adam Lomartire

Adam Lomartire has over 20 years of experience in the field of health and safety. Adam began their career at AstraZeneca as a Safety Engineer, where they specialized in compliance, emergency response, and accident investigation. Adam then worked as an Industrial Hygienist at Tighe & Bond before joining Lockheed Martin as a Safety Specialist. At Lockheed Martin, they implemented an ISO14001 conforming EHS management system and worked closely with operations to implement EHS programs. Adam then returned to Tighe & Bond as a Senior Compliance Specialist, where they led technical and market business development, focusing on finding cost-effective solutions to complex EHS management problems. Currently, they serve as the Director of Health and Safety at Global Partners LP, where they drive organizational change to identify and control hazards, enhance employee engagement, and reduce liability for over 300 retail convenience stores and wholesale terminal facilities.

Adam Lomartire received their education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. Adam attended the university from 1988 to 1993, during which they gained knowledge in various fields such as industrial process design, quality management, statistics, ergonomics, and workstation design. In October 2008, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Safety Professional from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
