Alex Jones

Alex Jones is a seasoned Broadcast Infrastructure Specialist and Broadcast Engineer with extensive experience at Global since June 2014, focusing on Broadcast Engineering for Europe's largest commercial radio broadcaster. Expertise includes troubleshooting and systems design in collaboration with stakeholders to meet evolving programming requirements. Previous roles include Broadcast Engineer and Audio Producer, where Alex produced high-quality audio for major UK radio brands while managing tight deadlines and brand guidelines. Prior to Global, Alex served as Station Manager at Tone Radio, deploying new technologies and playout systems, and worked as a Venue Technician for Pleasance Theatre Trust during the Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, handling sound and lighting systems. Alex holds a BA (Hons) in Radio Production from the University of Gloucestershire.
