Yanyou Lin

YanYou Lin is a seasoned professional in engineering with extensive experience in the biotechnology and microfluidics fields. Currently serving as Sr Director of Engineering at Glyphic Biotechnologies since February 2024, YanYou previously held the position of Director of Microfluidic Engineering at Twist Bioscience, where significant contributions included leading the DNA data storage IARPA project and achieving the first worldwide demonstration of millions of individually synthesized DNA oligos. Prior roles include Sr. Manager at Complete Genomics, where YanYou spearheaded the development of various genomic and diagnostic technologies, and Staff Engineer at Illumina, focusing on advancements in digital microfluidics and sequencing systems. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University and earlier degrees from National Taiwan University and National Chiao Tung University.
