Marcus Zimmerman

Marcus Zimmerman serves as the Vice President at Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs and the Defense Innovation Scholar at the Stanford Gordian Knot Center for National Security Innovation, focusing on early-stage syndicate investments in national security and defense technology. In addition, Marcus is a Venture Fellow at Venture Cooperative and a Product Manager at Notebook Labs, where efforts are directed towards leveraging Zero-Knowledge proofs to enhance financial infrastructure. As a Venture Scout at GoAhead Ventures, Marcus sources pre-seed and seed deals and evaluates pitches, while previously completing a remote internship at Qualtiq Ventures, conducting due diligence and writing investment memos. Marcus has also contributed as an Advising Fellow at Matriculate and is pursuing a degree at Stanford University after graduating from Ulysses S. Grant Senior High School.
