Joe Burke has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Joe is currently serving as the VP Partner and Customer Care at Go City since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Cazoo as the Head of Customer Support from February 2021 to March 2023. From 2016 to 2020, Joe held the position of Director of Customer Service at Booking.com, where they managed an internal contact center supporting consumer and business customers in multiple languages. Joe also worked at Amazon as a Senior Operations Manager responsible for the UK customer service network. Before that, Joe worked at NETGEAR, where they served as the Senior Manager Support Global Operations and later as the EMEA Technical Support Manager. Joe began their career at Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker, where they held the roles of EMEA Associate IT Director and Global Infrastructure Channel Manager, as well as EMEA Infrastructure Support Manager. Joe has a proven track record of effectively managing customer support teams, delivering service levels, and optimizing operations.
Joe Burke has a Master's Degree in Business from University College Cork. Joe also holds a Diploma in Strategy and Innovation and a Diploma in Leadership, both from University College Cork. In addition, Joe has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus. Joe has also obtained a Certification in Business Administration and a Diploma in Business Administration from The Open University.
