Jerry Anwar began their career in 2008 as a Vacation Trainee at PT Vale Inco and later worked as a Junior Consultant at PT Surveyor Indonesia in 2009. In 2010, they joined PT Arutmin Indonesia as a Long Term Mine Plan Engineer before moving on to Schlumberger in 2011 as a D&M Field Engineer Trainee. Jerry Anwar returned to PT Arutmin Indonesia in 2012 and held various positions including Mine Plan Engineer, Assistant to GM Operation, and Business Analyst. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Assistant to CEO at PT Arutmin Indonesia. In 2018, they joined PT Golden Energy Mines as a Business Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Digital Transformation Analyst. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Business Transformation at PT Golden Energy Mines.
Jerry Anwar Halim obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mining Engineering from the Institut Teknologi Bandung, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their degree, Jerry also obtained additional certifications such as ICP - Business Agility Foundation from ICAgile in December 2021, and Minescape Core, Stratmodel, Opencut certification from Mitrais in June 2010, as well as XPAC Scheduling certification from RungePincockMinarco in April 2010.

PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk is engaged in the business of trading sector of mining products and mining services. On March 13, 1997 the Company was established under the name of PT Bumi Kencana Eka Sakti which was later changed to PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk on November 16, 2010. On November 12, 2011, the Company became a public company and was listed on the main board of Indonesia Stock Exchange (Bursa Efek Indonesia). Through the Initial Public Offering, the Company was able to collect funds amounting to Rp 2,205 trillion. In that IPO, GMR Coal Resources Pte. Ltd. (previously named GMR Infrastructure Investments (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.) (“GMR”), which is a subsidiary of GMR Group, a leading infrastructure business group in India which became the Company strategic investor by holding/having 30% (thirty percent) shares from the total issued and paid-up capital by Company. On April 20, 2015, PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (”DSS”) has transferred 66.9998% of its shareholding in the Company to Golden Energy and Resources Limited (previously known as United Fiber System Limited) (”GEAR”), a company domiciled in Singapore. GEAR principally engaged in the exploration, mining, and marketing of coal and owns forestry concession rights in South Kalimantan. GEAR is a subsidiary of DSS, listed on IDX, the flagship company of Sinar Mas for the power sector. Afterwards, on September 15th, 2022, GMR Coal Resources Pte Ltd transferred 30% of its shares of the Company to PT Radhika Jananta Raya, a subsidiary of PT ABM Investama Tbk domiciled in South Jakarta.
