Peter Hockaday

Peter Hockaday has a diverse work experience history. Peter started their career in 2004 as an Online Editor and Sports Reporter for the Casper Star-Tribune. In 2008, they moved on to the San Jose Mercury News, where they held multiple roles including Lead Online Producer, Sports Producer, and News Producer. Peter joined the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGate in 2011 as an Online Editor before being promoted to SFGATE Deputy Managing Editor in 2016. In 2018, they transitioned to the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy as the Director of Editorial Content and Strategy, and later became the Director of Communications. Peter also holds a position as a Board Member for the Bay Area Video Coalition since 2022.
