Wenqi Liu

Wenqi Liu, Ph.D., currently serves as Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities include designing a hybrid passage retrieval system that integrates a large language model (LLM) for AI applications and developing evaluation pipelines for search engines and generative AI. Previously held positions include Big Data Engineer/Scientist at Goldman Sachs, where evaluations of internal search engine ranking algorithms were conducted, and a Research Assistant at the University of Louisville, contributing to multiple advanced research projects. Wenqi Liu has also gained experience through a part-time research internship at InfoBeyond Technology LLC, where a distributed computing cluster was built, and served as a Teaching Assistant/Lecture Instructor at the University of Louisville. Educationally, Wenqi Liu holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Louisville, a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Automation from Donghua University.
