Oliver Schiewe

Oliver Schiewe is an experienced professional in the aerospace and engineering sectors, currently serving as Leiter Sicherheit, Qualität und Umwelt at SBB Cargo since January 2023. Prior to this role, Oliver held the position of Vice President Engineering, Operations & Quality at RUAG Aerostructures, where the focus was on delivering high-quality products to the aircraft business and ensuring safety standards. With significant leadership experience at RUAG Space, including Senior Vice President of Product Group Spacecraft and General Manager PU-Launcher, Oliver led international teams and oversaw numerous engineering and operational functions. Earlier roles included General Manager PU-Structures at RUAG, where the manufacturing of satellite composite structures was emphasized, and quality management responsibilities at RUAG Space Zürich. Oliver began a career at Astrium and ZWP Peters GmbH, contributing foundational expertise in engineering and operations. Educationally, Oliver holds a Diplom in Maschinenbau from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm.
