Kai Gradert 🦸

Kai Gradert is a seasoned designer and co-founder of Hero since April 2024, bringing extensive experience in design leadership from various organizations. Notably, Gradert has served as an advisor at Good Party, a public benefit organization dedicated to empowering independent candidates, since 2019. Previously, Gradert was the founding designer at August Health from October 2020 to June 2024 and held the position of design lead at AngelList from July 2014 to June 2020. Earlier career milestones include serving as design lead for Lightroom Mobile at Adobe (2013-2014) and co-founding Cheers, where a pivot led to its acquisition by ByteDance. Additionally, Gradert contributed as a senior designer at Google (2005-2008), focusing on products like Google Desktop and GDrive.
