John Ochtyun

John Ochtyun is a seasoned professional in talent acquisition and retail operations, currently serving as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia since October 2023. Previously, John held various leadership roles at PetSmart, including Store Manager and District Trainer, where notable achievements included recognition in the Circle of Excellence and participation in leadership development programs. Prior experience includes founding Salt Kissed Cotton, an elegant beach apparel company, and serving as Executive Manager of Guest Experience at Target. John holds a Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a BFA in Visual Communications from Cazenovia College.
