Monica Lenart

Monica Lenart is a Principal Engineer and Technical Director at Google Research, where since February 2006, Monica has led applied research for conversational recommendation systems, particularly focusing on Google Assistant, search, commerce, and YouTube Music. Prior roles at Google include serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead Manager for the Advertiser Platform and as a Tech Lead for the Ads Backend team. Monica's earlier experience includes software engineering roles at GreenMesa Inc and Stellacore Corporation, as well as research assistantship at Colorado State University. Monica holds a PhD and an MS in Computer Science from Colorado State University, and a BE in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
