Matt Newcomer, SPHR has extensive experience in various HR roles. Matt currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Gosiger Inc, where they oversee HR plans and strategies. Prior to this, they worked as the Human Resources Leader at Clopay Building Products, leading HR functions for two manufacturing facilities. Matt also served as the Vice President of Talent at Winsupply, where they created and deployed talent strategies for over 575 locations nationwide. In addition, Matt worked as an Adjunct Professor at Keller Graduate School of Management, teaching and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students in HR programs. Lastly, they were the Director of Human Resources and Employee Development at The Brickman Group, where they directed HR functions across multiple states.
Matt Newcomer, SPHR has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Franklin University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix. Matt also holds several additional certifications, including the SHRM Senior Certified Professional, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification, and certifications in 4 Discplines of Execution, Cultural Change Management, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and Project and Change Management.
