Lasma Simbolon

Lasma Simbolon serves as the General Counsel and Head of Legal for the On Demand Service Business at Gojek since December 2020, managing a team of 20 legal professionals across Southeast Asia. Prior to Gojek, Lasma held multiple senior positions at tiket.com, including SVP & Head of Legal for Transport & Logistics and GoFood & Merchants, and served as SVP & General Counsel overseeing legal matters for the company. Lasma's extensive experience includes roles as Senior Counsel at PT HM Sampoerna Tbk., Regional Counsel for Asia Pacific South at Cabot Corporation, and Independent Director at PT Hero Supermarket Tbk. Lasma began a legal career at SSEK Law Firm, contributing as a Partner and practicing attorney, and initially interned as a journalist at Kompas Gramedia Group of Printing. Lasma holds an LL.M in Corporate and Business Law from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Law from the University of Indonesia.
