Richard Brandenburg, CPA, CGMA, CIA, currently serves as the Global Tax Director and Chief Tax Officer at GrafTech International, overseeing the company's tax strategy under the guidance of the CFO. Previously, Richard held positions at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where responsibilities included managing federal tax teams and reviewing tax provisions, and at CTS Corporation, focusing on domestic compliance and global reporting. Additional experience includes tax management roles at Volvo Construction Equipment and Cummins, where Richard significantly enhanced in-house tax functionalities and managed tax returns for major companies. Richard's educational background includes a Master's degree in Accounting with a focus on Taxation from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a Taxation emphasis from Western Illinois University.
