Lu Cui

Senior Scientist at Graphite Bio

Lu Cui is a Senior Scientist at Maro Bio and Graphite Bio, with extensive experience in utilizing multi-omic approaches to uncover pathogenic mechanisms and test therapeutic strategies in fibrotic conditions. Prior to these roles, Lu Cui was a Senior Scientist at Stanford University from February 2014 to January 2023, focusing on the pathogenesis of diseases and the examination of novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers using iPSC-derived cardiac lineage cells. Earlier positions include Research Associate Professor and Research Assistant Professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, where Lu Cui researched the efficacy of MSC- and iPSC-derived therapeutic cells for retinal degeneration. Lu Cui holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
