Diane Edwards Mbe

Diane Edwards MBE serves as the Head of Inclusion for England Talent Pathways at Sport England since May 2019, focusing on ensuring equal opportunities within the sporting talent system. Additionally, Diane serves as a member of the Talent Inclusion Advisory Group, advocating for representative teams in sports. As Chair of the GMCA Civic Leadership Programme, Diane works to empower individuals facing racial inequalities for civic leadership roles. Furthermore, Diane chairs the Sport Committee for Commonwealth Games England and co-founded City of Champions, dedicated to inspiring local communities. Diane also held the position of Chief Executive at the Diane Modahl Sports Foundation, promoting youth empowerment through sport. Other roles include board trustee at the Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity and various leadership positions aimed at enhancing youth engagement and representation in Greater Manchester. Diane's background includes a degree in Business Management & Media from The University of Manchester.
