Pam Guest is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy development and resource management. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor at Greater Wellington Regional Council since 2016, Pam leads initiatives focused on wetlands, indigenous biodiversity, freshwater, and coastal habitats, while also addressing climate change. Previously, as a Resource Management Consultant with Environmental Planning from 2005 to 2015, Pam specialized in strategic planning and policy development concerning land use impacts on water quality. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Resource Management Planner at Environment Canterbury from 1992 to 2001, where Pam contributed to soil conservation and freshwater quality policies. Pam holds a First Class Honours degree in Geography from the University of Otago and further education from the University of Waikato.
