Mike McCormick

Mike joined GreatPoint in 2017. He invests in areas like healthcare, enterprise tech, fintech, and marketplaces. Prior to GreatPoint, Mike was a Principal at Comet Labs, a venture capital firm focused on AI and robotics in healthcare and large enterprises. Before Comet, Mike co-founded Rubicon Venture Capital, a seed-stage venture firm. Mike began his startup career as an undergrad, co-founding two businesses with his Georgetown classmates.

Mike is a supporter of nonprofit and for profit organizations like Founders Pledge focused on addressing the world’s most pressing challenges, like climate change, mental health, technological breakthroughs, and catastrophic risks. Mike holds a BA from Georgetown University where he studied political science, philosophy, economics, and history.
