Gilbert Achermann

Gilbert Achermann engages in various mandates in publicly-listed and privately-owned companies across a range of industries, including medical devices, healthcare services, and wealth management.

Currently, he serves as Chairman of Straumann, the global leader in implant dentistry, as a board member of Bank Julius Baer, as Chairman of Ypsomed, a manufacturer of injection and infusion systems for self-medication, and a renowned diabetes specialist. Further, he is a Member of the Supervisory Board at IMD Lausanne. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen and an EMBA from IMD.
